How much does a clean cost?
Our standard clean starts from £25/hr with a minimum of 3 hours. Deep cleans and move-in/out cleans start from £32/hr. Recurring bookings receive discounts of 7–15% depending on frequency. You can see full pricing on our Pricing page.
Are there any hidden fees?
Absolutely not. There are no booking fees, registration fees, or hidden charges. The price you see when you book is the price you pay. Cleaning supplies and equipment are included in the hourly rate.
Do I need to pay upfront?
Yes, we take a secure card payment at the time of booking to confirm your slot. Your card is only charged once your booking is confirmed, and you will receive an email receipt immediately.
Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
Yes. You can cancel or reschedule any booking free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled visit. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a 50% late cancellation fee. You can manage bookings directly from your account dashboard.
How quickly can I get a cleaner?
In most cases, we can arrange a cleaner within 24 hours of your booking. Same-day bookings may be available depending on cleaner availability in your area. During peak periods, we recommend booking 2–3 days in advance to secure your preferred time slot.
Can I book a recurring clean?
Yes! We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly recurring bookings. Recurring customers save between 7–15% compared to one-off rates. You can pause or cancel recurring bookings anytime with no penalty as long as 24 hours notice is given.
Do I need to be home during the clean?
No, you don't need to be home. Many of our customers provide access instructions (e.g. key with concierge, door code) and leave their cleaner to work independently. All our cleaners are fully vetted and insured, so you can trust them in your home.
How do you vet your cleaners?
Every cleaner on our platform goes through a 4-stage vetting process: application review with reference checks, UK government criminal record check, in-person interview, and a practical cleaning assessment. Only 1 in 5 applicants is accepted onto the platform.
Will I get the same cleaner every time?
Yes — for recurring bookings, we always aim to send the same cleaner. Your cleaner will learn your home, your preferences, and how you like things done. If your regular cleaner is unavailable, we'll notify you in advance and send a fully vetted replacement.
Are your cleaners insured?
Yes, all SweepRight cleaners are covered by our comprehensive public liability insurance policy. In the unlikely event of accidental damage during a clean, please contact us within 24 hours and we will resolve the matter promptly.
Do cleaners bring their own supplies?
Yes. Your cleaner will bring all necessary cleaning products and equipment, including eco-friendly cleaning supplies, mop, vacuum cleaner, and all cloths and tools. There is no additional charge for supplies — it's included in the hourly rate.
Can I request specific products?
Absolutely. If you have specific products you prefer us to use (e.g. for allergies, delicate surfaces, or eco preferences), simply leave a note in the access instructions field when booking. Your cleaner will use your preferred products if you leave them out.
What if I'm not happy with the clean?
We have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you're not happy with any aspect of your clean, contact us within 24 hours and we'll send your cleaner back to fix it at no extra cost. If the issue isn't resolved, we'll offer a full refund for that visit.
How do I rate my cleaner?
After each visit you'll receive an automated email and SMS asking you to rate your cleaner out of 5 stars. You can also leave detailed feedback. Ratings are reviewed weekly and cleaners who fall below our minimum standards are removed from the platform.
